A favorite bit here at Hopkinsville.com, the Mayor of the Week series.  In short, we simply find local folks and make them mayor.  Our past Mayors have included an actual past mayor, Small business owners, a pizza salesmen, a car salesman, insurance man, car detailer, and so on…  The point of our efforts is to get grass roots solutions to everyday problems from everyday people without the bias politics as usual.  So far we have had some brilliant ideas about how to make Hopkinsville a better place to live.
